Faerie is a documentary
film which highlights the contributions of queer people and
the continuing injustices they face in
todays world, from the lack of protection from hate crimes
to the denial of the right to marriage.
Focusing on changes in societal and spiritual viewpoints
in recent history, interviewing gay-rights pioneers and activists,
and providing biographies of significant queers in history
such as DaVinci, the film hopes to provide education
which leads to a thoughtful advance in equality and a balance
of civil rights. |
